Major Bill Thexton, a wartime company commander, uses tremendous powers of recall to tell how ours Regiment played an important role in the successful Italian Campaign that helped to win the Second World War. The book contains three maps and 60 photographs to help you understand the war as seen from the eyes of a man who was there and remembered it well.
